311213 活在当下

今天是2013最后一天了
有别于去年
2012年结束前我给自己写下2013满满的计划
对于明年,我暂时并无任何打算唷



2013年,对我而言是验收成果的一年
虽然有些计划并没有如期的实现
(好像韩国旅行,独自驾驶等等)
但是今年也有一些意外的收获啦
例如香港旅行,重新装潢房间和找到正确的饮食之道等等
我真是超级幸运呀!
有些想法我只是默默放在心上
没想到不知不觉就实现了这样~



人类因梦想而伟大
只要不放弃总会找到实现的办法
你们说,是不是?



打着打着竟然离题了 ~~噗



[活在当下]

我一直都有这样的想法
尤其是不开心的时候
要时时提醒自己,现在是最好的
也许会觉得自己的生活欠缺什么
或是工作很辛苦还是遇到难题等等
只要想想现在拥有的
趁着当下去好好感受当时周遭的人事物


小时候,我常常盼着自己快点长大
这样可以不受大人约束去做各种事情
读中学时,因为严厉的校规,希望自己可以快点毕业
上了college又希望可以有自己的经济能力
可以快点踏入社会工作

为了摆脱什么或得到什么
我总是期待着未来的到来

这样,不是错过了当中的过程吗?


未来,还是值得期待的
不过从中我领悟了
只要得到了一些东西
我们总会失去一些东西
唯有好好活在当下
就算未来失去了也不会觉得遗憾呀~

[DIET] 择食.感想



我欠这篇很久了厚~~ (被揍)


最近大家都纷纷问我,
是不是换了什么护肤品,怎么皮肤变滑了
或者是不是在偷偷减肥之类的问题
记得我回家时,我妈一见到我劈头就问,
你怎么一瘦就瘦那么多,是不是吃不多啊~


其实我没有换护肤品还是在节食减肥啦
我只是改变了饮食习惯而已~


我一直以来都被小毛病困扰,
失眠,精神不好,皮肤干燥过敏,情绪容易低落暴躁,咳嗖,手臂爱长粉刺雀斑,眼睛总是觉得干,痒,还有随着年龄增长的肥胖(手臂肚子大腿变粗)等等
这些小问题加起来总会让我觉得沮丧

总是觉得只要努力实行健康的生活就会有所改善
但是,有时我不禁怀疑,真正健康的生活是什么?
我一直认为的健康的观念是对的么?


我一直相信
正确的方法应该是可以简单的执行而且带来事半功倍的效果


本着这种相信,我一直在寻找着真正正确的健康方法
后来,在书局里偶然发现‘择食’这本书


在这里简单的介绍一下作者~~ (我直接google贴上来)

择食,真的是很恐怖的不归路呀~~


因为,
自从开始择食后,我真的好爱自己的素颜呀~~~
就算素颜也觉得气色好美,
所以我几乎24/7都在自拍耶
而且还whatsapp给大家,强迫大家看我的自拍这样
大家都快被我弄疯了~~~呵呵呵~


归正题,可能你们对"择食"的概念并不清楚,让我来好好解释一下吧~


“择食”,顾名思义,就是选择吃下肚子的食物的意思啦
吃對的食物+不吃錯的食物= 健康的基本原則

虽然我以前自认对健康有自己一套管理的方法,
不过,择食和大家普遍认知的营养观念落差很大!
刚开始阅读时,我有种茅塞顿开的感觉~

以下我就分享我读完择食后的感想,
不过要了解正确的营养观念和择食的方法,
你们还是要好好阅读才行
毕竟太多资料我无法完全打出来啊啊啊啊~~~~




1。不要大量食用蔬菜水果
我以前认为多吃蔬菜水果对身体皮肤很好,
所以想要减肥时,干脆晚餐只吃蔬菜水果,平时也会吃大量的蔬果。

其实,蔬果类是寒性的,大量吃尤其是晚上吃只会让你身体变寒,水肿和下半身肥胖~
很可怕对吧?!

所以过了晚上7.30就不要再吃水果蔬菜了!一天的分量是以下:

水果 - 早餐吃2份不同的水果,一份是一个拳头大小或6口
叶菜类 蔬菜 - 中午吃,晚上不能吃,叶菜类在蔬果类里属于比较寒冷的
根茎花果类蔬菜 - 晚餐吃,要在7.30pm前吃完


2。不要害怕吃肉类
我以前不爱吃猪肉,总觉得吃了会变胖~
肉类可以提供身体需要优质蛋白质
尤其是猪肉和羊肉是最好的选择

开始吃优质蛋白质后,我觉得皮肤变得紧实细嫩

肉类的选择是,羊肉好过猪肉好过鸡肉好过鱼肉过海鲜类

記得優質蛋白質不宜烹調超過15到20分鐘,否則將轉變成劣質蛋白質
是身體酸化、酸毒來源。


3。放心的吃淀粉不会变胖
我懂,淀粉是减肥的大忌
不过对于爱吃白饭的我,就算为了减肥怎么也无法割舍
我完全是自暴自弃,如果真的会变胖就由它吧

不过我读完择食后,终于可以放心的吃最爱的白饭啦
淀粉,不会让人变胖,反而让人有精神

晚上过了7.30分,不要再摄取蔬菜和肉类,只吃淀粉类
淀粉可以提供身体所需的热量,晚上7.30到睡觉前还有一段时间,虽然身体的代谢会变缓慢,但是基本热量还是需要的,所以摄取淀粉并不会造成身体的负担哦~

蔬菜是寒性的,晚上吃只会让身体越来越寒
而7.30分后吃肉类会养肥脂肪和癌细胞


4。吃三餐会比吃两餐瘦得快,吃两餐会比吃一餐瘦得快
这听起来有点不可思议,我知道~
我也是常常为了减肥而少吃一餐或减少食量
我好幸运,在我没搞砸身体之前就遇到了择食这本书
在年轻时总觉得自己只要少吃一些就可以轻易瘦下来
如果我在那时侯遇到这本书,也许我会不以为然

以前总觉得有好多青春可以挥霍,
现在身体真的会渐渐发出抗议和紧讯~

节食会造成肥胖的原因有三种,

第一,节食会造成人体的基础代谢率下降最大幅度达到46%,
身体每天燃烧的热能减少,就会让身体努力的储存脂肪,
所以越不吃,脂肪堆得越厚

第二,一开始实行节食时身体还会脱水
因为禁食碳水化合物,身体的反应会释放储存在体内的碳水化合物
因此,不吃东西而让体重减少,减的是肌肉、水分,而不是脂肪
水分有助于消除脂肪,想减肥的人如果水分补充不够
身体的脂肪就无法适当的新陈代谢

第三,长时间的节食坚持不下来时
待您恢复正常饮食,身体就会报复性吸收营养
迅速在体内储存为脂肪
这样的减肥减去的是肌肉、水分而反弹的却是脂肪
导致肥胖问题越来越难解决。

所以说盲目的节食减肥会使您日后更胖!


相反的,正确的摄取三餐可以让速基础代谢率上升,而且可以增加肌肉。

平均一公斤的肌肉可消耗70-200大卡
而一公斤的脂肪平均只能消耗4-10大卡
肌肉燃燒的熱量又是脂肪的17-20倍,
想要變成不易發胖的體質,就得努力增加肌肉

增加肌肉,除了运动,也需要摄取优质蛋白质


5。寒性、生冷、上火的東西必須忌口
说完必须吃的食物, 接下来说必须忌口的食物啦~~
我认为,比起必须吃的食物, 忌口这一点比较有难度
我自己偶尔还是会小小的偷懒或是偷吃一些必须避开的食物如巧克力,奶茶,辣椒等等啦

必须忌口的食物是依个人体质而定
我本身是只要书中提到会引发各种症状的食物,我都会注意和忌口
一般必须忌口的食物通常是会引发上肝火,上肠火,刺激神经和体质寒冷
大家普遍认为对身体有益的食物如蛋,牛奶,豆类,蒜头都被我列入忌口名单
名单好长,在这里就不一一列出来了哟~~

I'm Eating RIGHT




Just measured my waist this morning. Apparently I slim down my waist from 27 inches or 28 inches (3 mth ago) to 25 inches. Yes! it's 2 or 3 inches!!

Believe or not, I never starve myself in this 3 mths, I eat more, didn't do any workout or apply any product. Nah, don't get me wrong, I actually believe that workout will bring better result, it's just that ..... I'm a lazybump, HAHAHAHA! Perhaps I'll start working out soon to tone my body to a better shape.

So,what I did is having healthy diet intake everyday. I know right, it sounds like I'm having a super incredibly strict diet regime. Well, I don't, I will simply give up because It's too difficult to do so. (I'm not discipline at all) I still eat Mcd/KFC/Curry Mee...etc sometimes.

I think I can continuously do it for 3 months (and I m still doing it now) because it's simple & the result is SUPERB

From what I'd observed, the result that had been achieved in this 3 months are :

1. become slimmer, I didn't measure my weight so I can't tell you my exact weight now. I have flat tummy, my arms and legs are slenderer, my face are smaller. I used to wear M size, but I can wear S or XS size for tops and S size for bottom.

2. Better skin. It's soft, smooth, tight and radiant than ever, I don't have loose skin after I'd become slimmer. I have rosy glow on my face & my pores is smaller. No more sensitive skin issues.

3. I sleep better at night. were having sleeping problem which I thought is due to stress.

4. No more dry, flacky legs. The skin from my knees down to my ankles look like fish scales. They have been very dry for many years. I used to apply a lot of lotion but it never works.

5. I tend to have brown/red spot and tiny bumps on my upper arms, it's not really noticeable if you didn't take a closer look. It's doesn't itchy or hurt, it's just ugly & annoying look at. Now It disappeared, so amazing!!

6. No more cough. The cough had been last for a year plus and wont go away even I'd tried various medicine or methods.

7. I don't really get menstrual cramps and my emotional are more stable in this 3 months when my periods came.

8. I used to wake up feeling tired and achy and groggy again a few hours later. I had to rely on coffee every morning in working days. Now I wake up feeling fresh & don't feel suffer have to get out of my bed every morning. My colleagues said that I look excited every morning.

9. Since childhood, I’ve always had cold hands and feet. I easily feel cold than others and cannot stand the wind or air-cond blowing on me. It's difficult to stay focus when I had icy toes or hand. This condition changed after I'd my current diet.

If you read my previous post, you may realized that my first goal in 2013 is to live healthier. It isn't about losing weight at all. I'd been facing few issues as my age grows, both aging & health issues. it's the main reason why I m always looking for correct way to stay healthier. YES, healthier, not prettier nor slimmer.

I believe, beauty comes from health and vitality than expensive products or surgery. I hope that more people will aware of this fact so they wouldn't have to waste their time & money but still didn't get the result that they want. Besides, I have to thank my babe, Nana for inspire me all the time and sharing info with me. Without her, I may not found the correct way to healthy diet. *HUG* *heartsss*

2013 Goal-Setting




I guess everyone would be thrilled like me, that the world doesn't end yet :) because there are too many things that i want to do in my life. I'm dying to blog about things that I want to do/achieve in 2013 because I want to make it happen so badly. One of the trick to live life with enthusiasm is to ONLY do and surround by things that i like for right reason.

I only achieve half out of my list in previous year, so this year I *MUST* put in more efforts to achieve my goals. I think a goal without a plan is just plain bullshit :/ As much as I hate it when people give up on their goal before they've tried, I'm not intend to change or pursuade anyone, I mean, ultimately you have to live with the choices you make.



#1 Live healthier
Living healthy isn't just about weight loss, it's about moving your body and feeding it good things for healthy and longevity. I will start adopt healthy life and diet habits by making small changes, like adding veges and fruits to my dailys meals, having an extra glass of water, which doesn't require a drastic change at once.



#2 Improve my english proficiency
I often find myself stammering and recollecting words while speaking English which is awful at times. Good command over English has become a necessity to me because It enable me to connect with other people much easier. Also, It's important to learn how to speak English because it is a language and skills needed in typical business communication such as presentation, negotiations, meetings, socoalizing, report writing and so on.  



#3 Refine my social skill
I m a social-awful person, I m reserved and shy being around unfamiliar people. I MUST MAKE MORE EFFORTS TO CHANGE IN THIS YEAR.



#4 Travel to places I've never been to
My most wanted destination is KOREA (I 'd said it, like 100 times...hahahahahahaha, literally told everyone that i'd met) Actually having a listing for what i want to do in Korea, I'm just that into it. :D

I'd book airtix to Bali this year, am considering for another trip to other place. *hmm..wondering..*



#5 DO MORE LIVE MORE TALK LESSER
Intend to achieve more in 2013, I'm successful, I'm better person that who I was yesterday, I'm pretty, I'm capable to achieve what I want, everyday must tell myself so...Actually believe that I was born to be like this,lollllllllllllllll *IKNOWYOUWANTTOPUNCHME* 

I MUST MAKE IT HAPPEN!!



#6 Earn More, Manage cashflow wiser
In order to realise all my dream, MONEY plays an important role. *kaching kaching*

I MUST EARN MORE AND BE WISER IN MANAGE MY CASHFLOW IN THIS YEAR TO MAKE EVERYTHING HAPPEN!!!



#7 Investment plannings
Wasn't planned to reveal what's I'm up to (yet???), we'll see.. :)

Interview



Some of you may knew that i 'd left my previous job and working in a new company currently. I'm ready for the new challenges and left my previous position in order to make the move.

I'd went through a few interviews  before i decided to work in my current co. and I actually got offers from all of these companies that pay me 30% to 60% rise of my previous salary. I'd promised to share my personal experiences on job interviews and I think I should blog about it now.

I believe that job interview could be stressful experience to many people, including myself. I got butterflies in my stomach everytime before an interview :( and the best way to reduce stress is to be prepared.



SO, ARE YOU READY? HERE WE GO!



Choose what you love only
I don't think there's ever a reason to apply for more than three or four jobs at a time. Any sign that you're applying for 50 or 100 jobs just makes you look desperate which makes you look unqualified. You want to look like you are good enough to be in heavy demand and able to decide where you want to work, because you're smart enough to have a choice in the matter, SO YOU ONLY NEED TO APPLY FOR ONE OR TWO JOBS.


First impression count
Even if you didn't realised, people start judging you even before you press the buzzer or walk through reception, while you 're talking to the receptionist, when you filing the application form or perhaps even while you are reading quietly and waiting for the interview to start. So, making a positive first impression is definately a MUST.
The first impression an interviewer makes is going to be based on how you look and what you are wearing. Creating a pleasant outlook of you is important. In many cases, it's important to dress professionally and appropriately for an job interview.


Be confident
People usually believe in you when you are believing in yourself. Even you don't feel confident, you should at least learn how to "fake" it. (I'm not kidding nor bluffing you.) What I mean is you should at least "look" confident even you are not. Learn how to make proper eye contact, perfect your body gestures and watch your pace and voice when you're speaking. Also, remember to be natural. Those should be helping you to look confident.


Understand yourself
I'd perform a SWOT analysis for myself before went to those interview, knowing the skills and strengths that I possess that adequate to the job I am looking for is important. It's not only boost my confidence, but helps to find the balance between my skill and the challenges i am tasked with. Also, it's always important to know that what you can offer before you can ask for your reward.


Give and take
Interview is actually a mutual interaction between interviewer and interviewee. Always keep in mind your objectives, desires and goals, don't just keep trying to make that “good impression” so you can get the job offer, interview is also an opportunity for you to gather information to make sound decision for both parties.


Be prepared
Prepare for those common questions that used to be asked in interview, read up about the company before attending the interview, try to find out as much as you can. Consider to use Google as most companies have their own website which is a good source for you to study before attending the interview.


Be Honest
Always tell the truth even if you don't know because i think interview will know if you're trying to bullshit your way into the job.


Draw your boundary
Set your bottom line and decide when to say "NO" is one of the most crucial part to determine whether to accept an job offer or not. I think sometimes it's not easy to say No because I refuse to limit my opportunities but identity my boundaries actually make me happier as it helps to find the balance between what i want and what i have to sacrifice.

Mr. Perfect

What a long weekend! How you guys spent your weekend? My weekend isn't happening at all since i spend most of time watching [Absolute Boyfriend] at home. I think I didn't watch taiwanese idol drama for quite a while.



The story is about a girl named Guan Xiao Fei has never had a boyfriend and has been rejected by every guy who she ever confessed to. When she returns a lost cell phone to a strange salesman, she mentions wanting a boyfriend. To show his gratitude to her, the salesman named Lei Wu Wu gives her his business card and tells her to go to his company's website, Kronos Heaven. At the Darling Store section of the site, Xiao Fei could create her own customized absolutely perfect lover.


I think u guys should watch this drama if you want to watch Jiro Wong's naked body! I never think he is hot until i watch this drama. How will it feels if you can create your own customized perfect lover? For me, i think it will be great idea that i can totally decide how my boyfriend look like and the way he treat me, however i'll want a human boyfriend instead of a robot because i want someone who can grow old together with me.

So, love is actually complicated, you cant have a Mr. Perfect, but you can decide what's actually most important to you. (DILEMMA) I actually feel sad for hours after watching the last episode because the ending is....okay,watch it for yourself :D
