Bali Trip

I guess some of you know that i went to Bali during the Hari Raya break. This is the first time that i travel to oversea together with my hubby :D It's actually my company trip, everything was organised by my boss, all of us had been given a itinery. We didn't do everything according to our plan due to time constraint. And, the main contributor to this is the traffic congestion in Bali which took almost half of our days. However, the scenery and landscapes that are offered in Bali really WORTH it all the while. It is a mixture of agricultural land, natural forest, beaches, lakes and volcanoes.

I think Bali is a great place for everyone because the island offer variety of activities and it's easy to plan your itinery even for inexperience traveler. Overall, it's a rejuvenating and soothing trip for both of us. :)))

Here you are, our 4 days 3 nights escapde in Bali :D

Day 1: Penang - KL - Bali - Grandmas hotel

Upon arriving @ Bali airport, Denpasar, we proceed to our hotel. We reached our hotel quite late due to traffic jam so we just have simple dinner at a restaurant and buy some groceries nearby our hotel.

 

 

Day 2 : Batuan temple - Gua Gajah or Gunung Kawi (we choose to go to Gunung Kawi) - Lunch at Kintamani Valcono - Bali Luwak Coffee - Tegalalang Rice Terracce (didn't go) - Tirta Empul Temple - Spring Water Temple - Ubud Monkey Forest (didn't go) - Puri Saren Agung (didn't go) - Ubud Market - Dinner @ Bebek TepiSawah - Jalan Pantai Kuta

 

 

Bali Luwak Coffee - small cup for sampling cost IDR50,000. The irony - the most expensive coffee in the world which made from shit. Luckily, it doesn't taste weird or shitty. I cant really tell the difference but hubby said it was nice so we bought a small pack of it for Rp150,000 which half of the original price. lolllllllll!

 

Personally, i think that food at Bali is not cheap as most of restaurant charge a 21% tax (government tax + service tax), it'd costs us around Rp60,000 to Rp100,000 per pax for a meal. Also, please bargain for cheaper price as much as you can for entrance fee or shopping as most of the charges are overpriced especially at shopping district of Seminyak/Legian/Kuta. It's will be added advantage if you r able to speak fluent BM. Mine one is suck so hubby did the bargain all the while. 

 

Day 3 : Taman Ayun Temple -  Lunch @ Pacung Rice Terrace (changed plan, we had suckling pig (babi guling) for lunch - Strawberry Hill (didn't go) - Bedugul Danau Bratan - Ulun Danu Temple (didn't go) - Candi Kuning Market (didn't go) - Botanical Garden or Alas Kedaton Monkey Forest (chose Monkey Forest, cheat one, this one can skip) - Tanah Lot Temple - Dinner @ Jimbaran (changed plan, shopped @ Toko Oleh-oleh Hawaii and dined at restaurant nearby our hotel) 

DO NOT GO TO ALAS KEDATON MONKEY FOREST. Doesn't worth the $$ paid, we'd paid Rp90,000 for whole vans (there are 6 of us), CHEAT ONE!!! A woman approached us  to become our tour guide. She bring us to walk around the forest just to look at monkeys and bats, UNBELIEVABLE!! After the tour is done, she requested us to buy some something from her store which is located just outside the entrance. 

 

 

Day 4 :  Uluwatu Temple - Lunch @ Made Warung (changed plan, had lunch @ KFC, Discovery Mall) - Shpping @ afternoon Kuta street + Geneva (Handcraft Centra)  + Toko Oleh-oleh Hawaii (Changed plan, Shopped ,chilled and massage @ Discovery Mall) - Airport Transfer @ 8pm (went there earlier around 7pm because worry that might trapped in traffic jam) - KL

Uluwatu Temple - Entrance fee for adult is Rp20,000 per pax. Sarongs and sashes are available free at the entrance. But becareful with your things, monkeys there are very active, they will try to get your stuff and exchange it with food.

There are few places in Bali that you guys shouldn't miss if it's the first time you visit Bali - Kintamani Valcono, Bratan Lake, Tirta Empul Temple, Tanah Lot, Ubud Market (for shopping), Uluwatu Temple and Bali Luwak Coffee.

I would definately visit to Bali for second time for the food, scenery and nightlife (too bad we didn't get to experience much on this). I wanna to try the famed pork ribs and chill at Ku De Ta!! (rolling on bed).

lil update

I know, it's been long since my last blog entry. It's a sick and busy weeks for me and i have some of unexpected life stuffs that came up to take care of,and some assignments that are due for completion. Besides,I'D FALL SICK TWICE IN TWO WEEKS, NO JOKING!wt*! so i've had to off to bed earlier than usual as the medicine kicked in. I had bunch of stuffs that i need/want to do but i really need good rest so i can fully recover asap and i can only do those really important one before i fall asleep. Arghh!! ..closed my eyes unwillingly.

I'm talking so much as I feel a lil bit bad for not updating. After i started working, i 'd learned that time is the most precise thing in this world. For me, i m trying to make time for everything that i care about, my family, friends and myself. Unlike my college days, i used to have plenty of time to spend, i somehow regretted a bit that i didn't spent it wisely. =/ I know, right, we can't change who we was in our past but we are able to decide our present.

Here's lil update for you all aftering reading my ranting,lolllllllllll! I'm sharing on my happy moments with my family and friends lately, viewing this photos make me recall all the happy hours we spent together and those nice memories. It's important that i get to spent some time with my love ones as it balance out my life besides working. It's 2 . 3 months that i didn't meet with most of my friends. It's like we all are busy forever (referring to me,lolll!) so i really cherish every moments i get to spent with them.

Lunch with Jurine @Kenny Rogers Roasters and have dessert @Tang Pak Fu! I'd started to miss the dessert at there now, so let's go there again next time :)

This dessert is very nice, it's look like a fried pear,(i'd forgotten it's name.) I'll definately go back for that! (craving...) you can ignore my messy look as the wind is strong that day. 

Birthday celebration with family. 



I'd order Matcha Latte Mille Crepe from Humble Beginning and it was nice! It's so simple that you just have to place order on their website 3 days before you need it to be done. Good news for those who stay at Penang Island - they will deliver the cake to your doorstep. :) MUST TRY!!

Pledge to live green

Hi, here i am :D was hang out with my friends yesterday and have a great time with them. look at my happy face. I'm wearing a green glass to support today's campaign. *haha* (what a coincidence!)

I'd came across the pledge to "live green" campaign organised by WWF Malaysia today. It's core purpose to to urged Malaysian to help conserve our living planet by pledging to "Live Green" towards more sustainable lifestyles through making various efforts to protect the endangered wildlife, namely sea turtle from the edge of extinction.  


It's triggered my curiosity so I'd googled a bit on sea turtle. I'd never know so much about sea turtle until now which really impressed and amazed me.

Do you know that Turtles are are as ancient as Dinosaurs?

They originated on earth more than 200 million years ago which making the species older than the oldest ever dinosaur.

Besides that, sea turtle is also an animal which return to it's birth place annually, journey from more than 1000km to do so. (Impressive, right?)

Fyi, nowaday, there are ONLY SEVEN LIVING SPECIES OF SEA TURTLES IN THE WORLD, which are flatback sea turtle, green sea turtle, hawksbill sea turtle, Kemp's ridley sea turtle, leatherback sea turtle, loggerhead sea turtle and olive ridley sea turtle.

Malaysia is so fortune to host four species of marine turtles: Leatherback, Green, Hawksbill, and Olive ridley turtles. :D.

I'D HOPE THAT I WILL HAVE A CHANCE TO WITNESS SEA TURTLE BABIES HATCHLING AND THEIR JOURNEY TO THE SEA. That would be a mixed-emotional experience!! Before i'd have a chance to do so, let's watch the video clip below, the baby turtle is adorable!! OMG! 



SADLY, SIX OUT OF SEVEN EXISTING SPECIES OF SEA TURTLES ARE LISTED AS ENDANGERED OR CRITICALLY ENDANGERED :(((

Although sea turtles have survived for millions of years but today they are fighting for their survival. They are facing various threats to survive not only from the natural environment but also from human being such as sales and comsumption of their eggs and illegal wildlife trades.

WHY IS SEA TURTLE SO IMPORTANT TO OUR LIFE?

Sea turtles play an key role in maintaining healthy coral reefs and seagrass beds. Aside from that, leatherback turtles are the top predators of oceanic jellyfish which feeds on larval fish. A wide variety of marine ecosystems are dependent on these fish and therefore it's important to help ensure the growth of these fish.

I felt so sorry after knowing bout it and grateful at the same time for able to live a happy and healthy life. I know, we are not used to realise but our action now could change the world. Never in my life that i'd did anything to protect any wildlife because i didn't really think bout it until now. It's not too late to do the right thing, right?

It's just a very simple step to help protect sea turtle from extinction, so why don't do it???!!

Bronze Hair @ Key Hair Saloon

话说，我去修剪和染头毛已经有两个星期了，噗~~！

维持布丁头好多个月了，

终于受不了冲去Key Hair Saloon做个了结!

其实染发最难熬的是得乖乖坐在椅子上几个小时

每次我都不时一直在看J在干嘛

向他发出求救讯息

不过他完全没注意到啊~~ >'''<

（心有灵犀这种事没发生在我们身上）

不过这次染发我只用了两个小时这样就完成了！

因为他们用的颜料只需要半小时就可以上好色哦！！

虽然我想在店里拍照

不过因为不好意思所以我没拍唷

这次是我第一次去那边弄头毛

发型师是Jensen，帮我洗头发的是Jesslin

我们还是来看照片吧

之前严重的布丁头，

我不知道我怎么了，竟然可以忍受这么久，哈！

颜色已经变得乘次不齐了

我的头发很多也很快变厚

我很喜欢J帮我拍的这张照片，

对着镜头，我不是放空就是摆臭脸，哈！（大笑)

J完全快被我气炸了

所以可以拍成这样，J根本就是天才啦！

而且头发看起来比较轻盈

我想颜料的品质真的很重要唷

头发很柔软，好像棉花糖 ~噗！

染发后像韩妞高高的把头发扎起来也很好看

1。我最近都在追看[ 仁显王后的男人]

因为看完[屋塔房王世子]后，我整个超空虚的！

后来就被我找到[ 仁显王后的男人]

不过我觉得[屋塔房王世子]的剧情比较好笑，

而且男主角也比较好看耶，你们觉得呢？

这两部韩剧都是男主角从300年前的朝鲜时代来到首尔的故事

今天买的Melonpan很好吃

外皮有糖霜包着所以很脆，内陷完全不甜

所以吃起来刚刚好！

J很喜欢吃甜的东西（可是他却不承认这点，哈！）

所以买给他吃。

这个在Prangin Mall 和 Queensbay可以买到啦!

刚刚店员告诉我即将推出10种新口味了噢!

我好期待，希望有抹茶/绿茶口味的 （笑）

Rooftop Prince 屋塔房王世子 - MUST WATCH!!

At last, I'm able to watch [Rooftop Prince] (屋塔房王世子) after the exam was over. It's one of the thing in my to-do-after-exam-list.

The story is about Lee Gak, the Crown Prince of Joseon Dynasty mysteriously transports 300 year into the future and arrives in 21st centry Seoul with his 3 retainers while he was investigate the death of his decrased Princess, Hwa Yong. They appeared on the rooftop home of Park Ha, a young woman who lives in modern day, which they subsequently found out that she also resembles Lee Gak's sister-in-law in Joseon era.

Lee Gak encountered Se-Na, who has an uncanny resemblance to his decreased Princess in Seoul and tries to get her attentions.

In order to adapt to the modern culture, Lee Gak and his retainers undergo hilarious transformation under strict mentoring of Park Ha. Hers's some of the funny recap of this drama:D

The Prince cut himself working. He had no idea what to do and his retainr told him to thrust his finger in the air,lollllllllllllll!! this scene make me laugh till cant breathe. He looks so ridiculous wagging his finger in the air.

They tried to find a restroom to change their clothes and finally they decide the restroom is 'a room with a door that can automatically open and close". And when the door of elevator open @3rd floor..

 and it open again @5th floor.. (I laughed like mad!!)

They accidentally land on the t.v. remote. A sageuk is playing and Yong-sul jumps in front of the prince to protect him and attacks the t.v. (O.o)

Who want to see them change inside elevator? Haha!


Se-Na in this drama is the character that irritate me so much that i feel like punch my computer's screen everytime when she comes on but i think her outfits and look are perfection.
